Holiday Inn Express Atlanta Nw Powder Springs

After spending two days at the Hilton Tru, I stayed one night at this Holiday Inn and was struck by the service from Nickie and Michael. Their kindness, cleanliness, and professionalism went well beyond five stars. The rooms were spacious, clean, and welcoming, and everyone here was genuinely friendly. I loved the hotel and the people working here. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Thanks for such an amazing and memorable stay.

During the winter storm, Nann, who was new, was patient and attentive and made a stressful situation much easier. On 1/25 I asked to change rooms because mine was near the elevator. She explained that it was actually one of the best rooms there and that the hotel was completely sold out. Her helpful attitude made sure I felt comfortable and looked after. Thanks, Nann, it didn't go unnoticed.

The beds were comfortable and breakfast tasted good, and the hotel itself seemed nice, if older and upgraded. But our third-floor room was full of ladybugs, flying and crawling everywhere. It was creepy and made the stay really uncomfortable. Management said the room had been sprayed and the bugs were coming from a window. When we asked to move, they said the rooms were booked, so we had no real choice, especially since we'd come from out of town for an event. Holiday Inn should have top-of-the-line pest control. This was unacceptable, do better by your guests.

This place has redeemed Holiday Inn for me after a few disappointing stays at other locations. The hotel was clean, everything worked as it should, and the staff were super friendly. I even got a welcome gift this time. I wish I'd caught the name of the woman who checked me in, she was amazing.
