Courtyard Austin Northwest Lakeline

I booked through a third party and stayed two nights. The front desk rattled off my “perks” so fast it felt like being read my Miranda rights. I know everyone has long days, but some of us have driven for hours to get there. If customer service matters to you, I’d go somewhere else.

When my boyfriend was traveling, he chose this Courtyard, and I called to ask if they could leave him a note and a treat. The staff were happy to arrange it and even added a couple of extra treats. It was lovely that they took the time to make his stay away from home a little better. The people here were so helpful.

We stayed after a Longhorns football game and the hotel was much nicer than we expected. The woman at the desk upgraded our room at check-in so the four of us could sleep more comfortably with a pullout couch. The indoor pool was warm and comfortable to hang out in. The price was good for the quality, and I think we’ll use this place again for future games.

There’s a concrete plant or something right next to the hotel, and its trucks were honking, engines roaring, and metal banging all night, from midnight until 5 a.m. For some reason it got quiet at 5, when work stopped. I know this isn’t the hotel’s fault, but it made for a terrible stay and I won’t be back.
