Four Points BY Sheraton Austin Airport

The staff were welcoming, and it’s a new, nice hotel. Our room was spacious and very clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows. I also liked that there’s no carpet. It’s convenient for the airport, though far from Austin activities and things to do. The reason I gave it three stars instead of four is the water. My shower stayed cold or barely lukewarm, with only a short burst of warm water before it turned cold again. Even after waiting 15 minutes, the water never got hot enough to soak my retainers. It seems like the water heater temperature may be set low. That was really uncomfortable and unacceptable. The walls are also thin, so you can hear people upstairs, outside your room, and in neighboring rooms, which cuts into privacy.

The staff were super friendly, and every part of this new Four Points by Sheraton near Austin Airport felt inviting, from the furnishings to the lobby. The building is beautiful, the layout works well, and there’s plenty of parking on site with quick freeway access. It’s easy to get an Uber, too. We were impressed with the value and every aspect of our stay. Our King bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was larger than usual, with a sofa and chair that we appreciated. I loved the artwork throughout. The bar stays open and has a good selection of beer and liquor, including electric jellyfish on tap. Stacy made me an excellent cosmo. In-shower shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were nice touches for a quick overnight. I highly recommend this hotel.

I’ve stayed at a lot of Marriott properties as a titanium member, and this one has been my favorite so far. The staff are super friendly, and the rooms are clean and well maintained. There’s a cozy bar and restaurant, with great food and drinks, plus an outdoor fire pit that’s fun to sit around in the evenings. Amazing hotel, and I’d highly recommend it. Best in Austin!

We booked a room before flying out the next day, then accidentally locked our keys in the car. Mehul, Annie, and the front desk staff let us leave the car there and arranged for the spare keys to be sent so they’d be waiting when we got back. They saved us at least $100, maybe more, and really went above and beyond. The bar and restaurant had a great atmosphere, and the salad and wine were great. The room was lovely, too. I’d stay again next time we fly out to see family.
