Hilton Garden Inn Austin North - Near the Domain

Peyton at the front desk was great both nights, and Jason behind the bar was lovely too. Our group spent quite a bit of time in the lobby and bar, which were comfortable places to hang out. The location worked perfectly for getting around The Domain, and the price felt fair. It’s a clean, updated Garden Inn, with tidy rooms and common areas. Parking was easy and well lit, and the small fitness center was spotless and well equipped. The entrance is tucked away and easy to miss at first, and breakfast was plain and limited for around $20. Even so, I’d absolutely come back.

After a bad stay at the hotel across the way, we were impressed by the staff here, especially Aiyesha at the front desk. The room was modern and laid out conveniently, and we slept comfortably. We even liked the smell of the shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant staff were accommodating; they made some really great bacon too. Both check-in and checkout were quick and easy. We’d be happy to stay again.

I’ve stayed here often for business over the last three years. It’s a nice property in a safe area, and I’m comfortable leaving my pickup parked there for days while I Uber to appointments or conferences. As a Hilton Diamond member, I’m often given preferred parking at Hilton properties, but that’s no longer an option now that this hotel charges for parking. I’ve found another place to stay in The Domain, and I may be happier there. Several hotels offer free parking and amenities that are similar or nicer.

The rooms were clean, breakfast was great, and the staff were super friendly. The lobby bar needs to be restocked, but Victor was very professional, worked hard, and gave excellent service.
