Eric at the front desk was kind and genuinely helpful. He was probably the only redeeming part of our stay. We’d booked two queen beds, but the first room we were given was completely empty, with rolled-up carpet and clearly under renovation. The replacement had two full beds, so it was cramped and uncomfortable for four of us. I don’t think the price was adjusted for the smaller room. There was a lot wrong in there: the bathroom door didn’t lock, the toilet barely flushed, and carpet nails stuck up from the floor. My friend stepped on one barefoot and punctured her foot. I had isopropyl alcohol with me, thankfully, but still. There were mysterious stains and obvious water damage on the ceiling, gross buildup where carpet met tile, and what might have been an exit bullet hole above the bed. A plant was even growing out of the bathroom sink. It didn’t feel like the room had been cleaned between guests. I know renovations are underway, so hopefully this isn’t typical, but we were put off by the condition.

Eric at the front desk made the stay stand out. He was friendly, accommodating, and gave top-notch service. My room was clean and comfortable, just what I needed for one night in a simple, no-frills La Quinta. Nothing went wrong while I was there, but I’m confident Eric and the staff would’ve handled any problem promptly and professionally.

From the moment I checked in, Debra was welcoming and helpful, and Shilpa clearly runs the hotel with a lot of care. They both made things easy and comfortable and went above and beyond. My stay was amazing. Truly spectacular service. Thank you both!

The hotel was just the right distance from the places we wanted to go. What really made me write this was Mr. Preston from security. We couldn’t get into our room with our baby, and it was really cold outside. He noticed right away and came to help us get in. The next morning he asked how my baby was and was so sweet about it. We need more people like Mr. Preston. He was the best!

I felt safe and welcome here, and the staff were accommodating with everything we needed. The hotel is obviously being renovated, and the new owners are cleaning it up and updating things. What stood out most was how genuinely hospitable everyone was. May God bless the whole staff!
