I paid $300 for four days and got maybe half a night's rest. I booked a deluxe room that was supposed to include a microwave and refrigerator, but neither was there. The heat didn't work during the week of Dec 13th, when it was 32 degrees for two nights, and they didn't fix it until almost checkout. I woke up with roaches crawling on me. I'm super disappointed and disgusted. I've been sleeping in my suburban because of life lifting, and this was my chance to sleep in a bed and let my dogs get out of the truck for a while. It's not really dog friendly, with no dog park, though a guy was in the middle of building an area for dogs to use the restroom. Overall, I'd give it 2 stars.

The rooms are run-down and cost too much. The sheets are stained, the sofa is torn, and the toilet won't flush. The hot water is only warm, there are roaches in the bathroom, and you can't tell which temperature number the AC is set to. They need to tear this place down, frfr. There's more, but I'm so through with it, frfr.

I found out recently that Motel 6 Austin, TX - Midtown charged me twice for one reservation. I only noticed because I checked my credit card statement and saw an unusual amount. Most travelers, including me, tend to trust the system and may not keep checking their accounts, so I could easily have paid double without noticing. This takes advantage of busy guests who trust Motel 6's reservation system and could leave them short of money they've worked hard to earn. I urge the reservations team to fix this immediately and stop duplicate charges. I really wouldn't recommend this motel if you want to protect your bank account.

There were roaches in the microwave. I've never seen so many in a motel room. Disgusting.

The room was clean, everything was clean, and the place was extremely well lit. I did find cockroaches, but I'll deal with them since they're only an inconvenience and a reminder to do your best to keep things clean. This was just my room's experience, and I have a feeling it was bad luck, hahaha.
