The Moxy has shopping and coffee shops all around, plus quick access to the main streets for getting around town. I’ve stayed a few times and plan to keep coming back. The rooms are clean and well maintained, and John and the front desk team went out of their way to make my stay great. The bar and valet staff were also very sweet and helpful.

Brandon and John deserve special mention. They were friendly, attentive, ready to answer questions or offer recommendations, and checked that everything was going well. Everyone was kind and professional, and the whole team made us feel welcome and looked after. The common areas were maintained well, and the atmosphere was calm and inviting. Everything felt organized, clean, and comfortable from arrival. The room was spotless, the bed extremely comfortable, and the amenities were what you’d hope for after a long day of travel. It was a wonderful stay, and it’s clear the hotel takes pride in both the property and the people who work there. I’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thanks to Brandon, John, and the entire team.

The bar was a favorite spot to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout, which made the stay feel easy and welcoming. My room was clean and comfortable, and the whole place has a fun, modern vibe. I had a great stay at Moxy Austin – University and would definitely come back.

Ariana gave us 10/10 service and was an amazing receptionist. I was there with my husband and daughter last week to tour UT, and the whole team was incredible. The hotel is right by campus, so it was easy to walk out and grab something to eat. The only downside is having to valet park. I’ll be back for sure if my daughter gets accepted.

The room was small but nice, and the location worked well for the football game. A few things made the night less comfortable: a fire alarm or similar fixture flashed all night, and the TV turned on by itself blaring at 4a. Parking was the main problem. The website said valet parking was available. Since it was a big rivalry weekend and I knew Austin would be packed, I called the week before to ask if I needed to reserve a spot. The hotel rep said not to worry because guests had “guaranteed” valet parking. We arrived hours before the game and they were already out of spaces. They just said we were out of luck, gave no advice about where else to park, and blamed the valet company. I’d understand that if the hotel staff hadn’t guaranteed us parking. Incredibly unhelpful.
