The cottage house was cozy but spacious, and the courtyard felt romantic and whimsical. We loved the shaded pool for swimming and relaxing in the afternoon, and the owners were so lovely and helpful. Breakfast was complimentary, hand delivered to our room, and absolutely delicious. South Congress is only a five-minute walk away, with all the entertainment and restaurants you could want. Finding Park Lane made my birthday weekend incredible. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to return. I promise you won't regret staying here.

We spent New Year's at Park Lane Guest House and had a wonderful vacation. The Carriage House was spacious and comfortable, and we never needed the car. Good restaurants and music were a leisurely walk of five minutes or less away, with nice parks nearby. Most of all, we loved unwinding in the garden, watching birds and listening to nature. Shakti's gourmet breakfasts were the icing on the cake. We really appreciated the hospitality, and we'll recommend the place to our friends and come back.

The hand-cooked breakfasts were fantastic, and Shakti and Samantha were delightful. The bedding was glorious, the decor felt magical, the pool was excellent, and parking was easy. We also loved the optional outdoor shower, it was such a cool feature. Park Lane Guest House is in a quiet, safe neighborhood, yet everything South Congress has to offer is within walking distance. Absolutely fabulous stay. If you're coming to Austin, this is where you want to be!

I first stayed at Park Lane Guesthouse years ago and recently got to return for my birthday weekend. The backyard is an oasis, and the pool seems to have magical healing powers. Go out after dark to see the beautiful courtyard lights, and say hello to the chickens, they love company. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, though Austin's busy shopping, restaurants, and nightlife are only minutes away. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything you need, and breakfast every morning was incredible. It's hard to put into words how wonderful this place is. Keep it in mind if you're exploring Austin. I guarantee you'll feel recharged physically and mentally after staying at Park Lane Guesthouse.

Shakti has created such a peaceful, happy, easygoing atmosphere, and the grounds are beautiful. The chickens are adorable, their pen is impressive, and they come running over to say hello. The rooms have peaceful private decks where a truly gourmet breakfast is served. Shakti is an excellent cook. I also appreciated the refillable glass bottles of filtered water, along with the coffee bar and wet bar, which costs extra. Congress Ave is close enough for an easy walk to shops, restaurants, and entertainment, including the bat bridge, but far enough away that noise isn't an issue. We had a wonderful long weekend at Park Lane Guest House.
