I’m a member and have been coming here to socialize, but the service keeps getting worse. The servers don’t seem to know what they’re doing, and they can’t even take an order properly. It feels like there are new people each time who have no idea what’s going on. My bill has been messed up so many times. I have a global membership and have visited many soho houses, but I’ve never experienced anything like this. I don’t know what kind of management is running the place. This is the worst soho house, and not service anyone should have to accept from a $7000 yearly membership club.

The service was superb in every area, and patio dining rounded out the trip. The room felt comfortable and homey, with every toiletry and personal care item I could think of, even facial creams. There was a fully stocked mini bar, fine teas and coffees, plus snacks. Evening turndown came with warm homemade cookies, and movie night with popcorn and drinks was perfection.

We loved the rooftop lounge, especially having different indoor seating options when it was cold. The food and drinks we tried were all good, and the service felt relaxed but attentive. Our room was really comfortable and had everything we needed, including quality products. SoHo house has become our favorite place to stay in Austin.

The drinks were great, and the private space is a nice spot to work, relax, or catch up with friends away from the crowds on 6th street. We used to avoid coming because there wasn't much to eat, but Soho has fixed that with an excellent revamped menu.

I keep thinking about what I saw at the restaurant. The new general manager was arguing with and berating another manager right in front of everyone. My coworker witnessed it too, and I felt embarrassed to be there. The woman being yelled at has always been kind to me, so I felt awful for her. Why should members pay to watch that kind of management, and couldn't it have been handled in private? It also makes me question the hiring process. I would normally raise a concern with management, but the general manager was the person responsible, and her attitude makes me worry she might kick me out. I debated writing this for a while, but it's bothered me enough that, for the first time in years, I'm considering not renewing.
