Studio 6 Austin, TX - Airport

After checkout at this Studio 6, part of my $50 deposit was withheld for alleged “stained towels.” In my experience, the deposit feels more like a way to bring in revenue than a standard hold. The room had dishes and a kitchenette, but no dish soap or sponge. Guests are expected to keep towels pristine without proper cleaning supplies, while the hotel shifts linen care onto customers instead of laundering or replacing towels as part of normal operations. I’ve stayed at many hotels, including higher-end properties, and never had a deposit reduced over towel use. Here, charges are applied after checkout without the guest present for inspection, and without itemized proof unless you press for it. My stay also included a room flooding issue, for which a free night was granted as service recovery. The towel charge appeared shortly afterward. The manager said they’d call me back and didn’t, and corporate guest relations hasn’t responded. With the post-checkout charges, lack of transparency, and unreturned calls, the place feels untrustworthy. I wouldn’t recommend it if you expect deposits to be handled fairly.

This was the best motel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were kind and actually helpful, my room was clean, and the area was clean too.

The room was spotless, and the housekeepers were great. After a long day, Ms. Maria at the front desk made everything easy for us. We really enjoyed staying here. I’ve been to other Hotel 6's, but the service here topped them all. Maria is awesome!

I stayed about six months, and the rooms were always clean and tidy. The staff were patient and professional, and the location worked perfectly for getting to the Tesla plant. My only complaint is that every now and then they forgot to replace the foot towel after cleaning, so I had to use one of the larger spare towels to walk on.
