We booked a one-night king room on 2/13/26, a week ahead, and I called that day to ask about a high floor. They said they couldn't confirm so early because they didn't know how busy that weekend would be, and suggested I call the day before. I did, and the woman I spoke with said only the third floor was available and asked if that worked. I said yes. She told me I was booked on the third floor, then asked if I needed anything else. I thanked her and mentioned my wife would probably arrive first that evening. She said okay. When my wife arrived, she called to say they'd put us on the first floor. I told her that wasn't right because the associate had said third floor. My wife called back, and they switched our room and took care of it. But when I arrived, the room had a queen bed, not a king. We were both tired, so we decided to raise it the next day rather than start the stay on a bad note. They apologized by email and seemed to think the issue was resolved. Maybe it sounds small, and in a way it is, but I'm a man of principle. I feel the person on the phone lied to a customer and that customer service did only half a job. Even a miscommunication like this is bad, and it makes me wonder about other things.

After more than 500 stays at Marriott properties around the world, this was easily my worst experience. The front desk employee was rude and dismissive, and acted as though she owned the place. We were charged more than the invoice showed, but nobody would explain why. When I asked for a manager, she claimed she was the manager. We later learned that wasn't true. I've raised the issue with upper management and still haven't received support or seen any action. I hope Marriott corporate looks into this. I have the details and contacts from the escalation and can share them.

The room was fine and clean during my stay a few months ago, but my Apple Watch went missing from it. I reported the theft by phone and got no follow-up, so I had to contact them again myself. They said they would ask the employees, though I don't know if they ever did.

Troy really helped me out after a long, stressful day. People above my room were making a lot of noise, and he moved me quickly. He seemed to genuinely care, and I really appreciate that he saved my night.

We’ve been staying in a lot of places while our house is being renovated, and this one has been a favorite. The staff are lovely, the place is lovely, and the rooms are clean.
