Villages at the Domain

Living at Villages at the Domain since November 2023 has been a great experience for my wife and me. The leasing staff, especially Cooper, Christina, and the rest of the team, have always been kind and quick to help with whatever comes up. Maintenance is just as good, usually friendly, professional, and done within a day. We’ve had some fun little surprises here too, like seeing a double rainbow from our window and finding free mini pancakes downstairs. Being across from the Domain Farmers’ Market and iPic is handy, and we use the 10% resident discount at the nearby coffee shop and Toastique all the time. The one thing I’d change is the elevators. They feel old and could use an update like the ones at Flatiron down the road. Still, we’ve been very happy here and would recommend it.

I’ve had my car towed twice for $350 each time because I forgot to register a vehicle in the resident parking system. The first was a new car I’d just bought, towed within an hour of parking. The second time, my friend parked in the resident area and I realized a few hours later that I hadn’t registered the car. Management showed no compassion or flexibility either time. What makes the policy hard to understand is that overnight parking on floors 1-4 and 6 gets only a warning sticker, while a vehicle in the designated resident and visitor area can be towed in an hour. There could easily be visible garage signs reminding residents to register visitors, but instead the setup feels like it catches people off guard. It makes me question the system’s intent. I’m sure the management company must be getting some kind of cut from these high towing fees, because otherwise the logic doesn’t add up. At this point, it’s hard not to feel the policy is mainly there to generate fees rather than help residents.

I’m really happy with the amenities and how much space I have in my apartment. There are bars just along the strip nearby, and the gym is well equipped too. Getting everything set up was painless thanks to Herme, who knows the area and made leasing feel easy. Jasmine and Amanda have also been great whenever I’ve had a question or concern. The leasing office seems genuinely invested in giving tenants a good experience, which is refreshing since you don’t see that initiative everywhere.

The location in the Domain is perfect, and I’ve loved living here. Maintenance responds quickly, the office staff are always helpful, residents get discounts at nearby businesses, and the community events are great. I’ve only had one problem: while I was out of town, maintenance finished a service visit and forgot to lock my door. Apart from that, my experience has been amazing.
