Red Roof Inn Ashtabula - Austinburg

One room was very clean, but the tub in the other was clogged with hair. I cleaned it out myself. The front desk staff were nice, the beds were comfy, and the hotel accepts dogs. All in all, it was a nice place to stay and I'd recommend it.

Dev, who was working both the front desk and bar, was top notch. He was friendly, professional, and just a great guy. The owner, Raj, clearly cares about the hotel, his employees, and especially the guests. My deluxe king room was clean and comfortable, and the hot tub was great. I was impressed with the Austinburg location and would absolutely stay again whenever I'm in the area. I'd recommend it to people in my industry, too.

Getting around without a vehicle was the hard part for me while my semi truck was being worked on. There's not much to do nearby, and Uber Eats choices were limited, mostly Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, and a few Mexican restaurants. The location can also mean a distance fee. Flying J is just across the street, where you can walk to order food like pizza, but be careful crossing the intersection. Uber Eats drivers can easily get in through the hotel entrance. For truck drivers, there's ample parking right in front for trucks and trailers. My stay at the Red Roof Inn in Austinburg, Ohio had no problems: the room was clean, the shower pressure was decent, housekeepers were friendly, and both AC and heat worked as they should. I think the TV had HBO channels, if I'm not mistaken. Lynne was friendly, funny, and attentive, which made the stay even better. I'd stay again. Thank you.

At $120 plus tax, we were very happy with what we got. Both dogs stayed free, which was a relief after Sleep Inn next door wanted $50 per dog and one night there would have come close to $300. The beds were large, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel had plenty of amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was free, the coffee was good, and there were no hassles. It's right off the thruway, across from 24 gas and food. Honestly, we found it better than some pricey boutique hotels we've stayed at in NYC. Great job, Red Roof Inn Ashtabula!
