Candlewood Suites Youngstown W I-80 Niles Area by IHG

The location was good and the service was great, but I had a rough stay in the room. The bed was ancient and so uncomfortable I could feel and hear the springs. There was a strong room freshener smell that seemed to be covering smoke, so anyone with allergies might have a hard time. The white bedspread had several stains and looked dirty even if it had been washed.

I’m an owner-operator truck driver, and I was there for nearly a week, so I met everyone. The young women on every shift were wonderful and really looked after me. They knew my truck was in the shop and seemed to care. One of them even got me to sign up as a member. The room was clean and nice, and I could walk to the dealership, truck stop, and restaurants. I’ll be back 😍 🥰.

The carpets in the room and throughout the building were extremely dirty, and the room itself was nasty with worn, filthy furniture. When we checked in, the bathroom still had dirty towels hanging up from the previous guest. We left and found another hotel.

The woman at the front desk was really sweet and helpful. The rooms could be cleaner, though, and there were lots of sketchy people just hanging around.
