We stayed Friday, May 22, 2026, while the hotel was being renovated. At first I was skeptical about the property and worried we’d hear noise, or that things might be in poor shape. The lobby was clean and inviting, though dated, and the woman at the front desk greeted us enthusiastically. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable, so the stay turned out very pleasant. Breakfast was wonderful, too. We also shared an elevator with the property manager. She was friendly and assured us she was doing everything she could to keep guests away from the renovation noise and dust. I appreciated that, and would recommend staying here. I’m looking forward to seeing the property once the work is done.

Sue deserves a special mention for the varied, delicious complimentary breakfast she prepares each morning. Everything is fresh, and she keeps the buffet and dining space spotless. The team at Fairfield Inn & Suites in Youngstown / Austintown is warm and accommodating throughout the stay. Our room was very clean, with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a microwave, and a small refrigerator. The mattresses were so comfortable we slept well. We highly recommend the Fairfield Inn & Suites Youngstown / Austintown for work or a getaway.

The staff were very nice, and the room was clean, though it was showing wear and the suite felt warm and needed a deep clean. Hot water was hard to get during busy shower times, and the beds are very high if you’re short or handicapped. Breakfast was a good free continental spread. Our first night, a large group partied in the hall until 1 a.m. and management didn’t shut it down, though the manager did comp our room, which was nice. Before 6:30 the next morning, the fire alarm went off. This is a difficult one to rate.

Sue, the kitchen manager, is like sunshine on a cloudy day. The staff were all friendly and polite, and we got a great price. Our room was clean and quiet, the pool was warm, and breakfast was plentiful and good. Fantastic!

I was visiting family for Thanksgiving and had a nice, quiet stay. The staff were welcoming and the customer service was great. The place was clean, and my room was nice with a comfortable bed. I’d stay here again next time I’m back.
