Desert Sand Resort

Jessica was great to communicate with and made our late check-in easy. We were just two blocks from the beach, and our room was fully furnished, clean, and cozy, with paint and decor that looked even better than we expected. I really can’t think of anything negative to say about the stay. For the value and amenities, Desert Sand is hard to beat 😁😁🤩🤩 🔥

Both pools were clean and well kept, and the whole resort was quiet. We stayed three nights after booking two rooms, each with two queen beds in the bedroom, a pull-out sofa in the living room, and plenty of space. The bathrooms were roomy too, and the kitchenette came in handy. Everything was clean, and the staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. We arrived a bit early and they offered to text as soon as our rooms were ready. The elevator was a real blessing, and the beach was just a block away. We visit Avalon-Stone Harbor a few times a year and have tried different places, but Desert Sand stands out. We’ll make it our only place to stay in Avalon.

Jessica, the Office Manager, stayed in touch throughout our visit and was so kind. Our room at Desert Sand resort was really clean and tidy, and the location was great. I’d absolutely stay here again when I’m back in Avalon.

Jessica and the front desk team were courteous and knew the area well. Our room was clean, with none of that musty damp smell, and being one block from the beach made for an easy walk. We’ve been happy with our stays and will see you next year for our third.
