Timmermann House Bed & Breakfast

Breakfast alone would make me want to return. Chef Sandy makes fresh, delicious food, often from their own garden, and plans different dishes for each day based on the preferences she asks about when you book. The house is pristine, beautifully decorated, and peaceful despite being close to several townships. Its large, landscaped yard is lovely, and the outdoor deck has a shade cover and looks out over the yard. Inside, the hardwood floors are immaculate, and the bedrooms feel warm and inviting. The king bed was very comfortable, and the linens and towels felt like five-star hotel quality. Ask for the bedroom with the en suite bathroom, and book early. We spent five nights at Timmermann House in Aviston, IL, and every detail felt just right. Sandy is a consummate professional and such a genuinely kind person. Andy is just as lovely, with stories I could have listened to for days. The hospitality was the best we've ever had, a definite 10 out of 10.

The food was excellent, as it always is, and the hospitality couldn't have been more welcoming. We truly enjoy staying at Timmermann House B&B and are already looking forward to coming back.

Sandy and Andy made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and there was a happy feeling all around when we came and went. Sandy made sure we were comfortable and had whatever we needed. I enjoyed reading the newspaper with Andy in the morning while Sandy got breakfast ready. Her homemade cooking was scrumptious, especially the flavorful sausage and bacon. It was a very pleasant stay, with a calm, relaxing atmosphere.

Sandy and Andy were so kind and loving, and I loved staying in their lovely home. The food was delicious too.
