Cobblestone Inn & Suites - Avoca

During our stay, the night employee Ann kept my toddler entertained in the lobby while our family was coming and going around our grandmothers funeral in town. She was a huge help. We also left with my treasured earring missing, but the staff found it in our bed and mailed it back safely. Such pleasant service.

We arrived late after driving, and this was a great place to stop. The room was cozy and comfortable, breakfast was decent, and there was a bar on the first floor, though I don't know its hours. The location just off the highway was convenient, the room was clean, and the front desk staff were very friendly.

The rooms have been freshly renovated and were very clean and quiet. Staff were friendly, and they serve actual breakfast food.

We were in town for a wedding in Harlan. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and service was great. The general manager even let one of our rooms check in early. Breakfast was standard continental fare, but I liked that the bread items were individually bagged for cleanliness. The room felt musty and humid, and the bathtub barely drained, so showering meant standing in pooled water. Still, it wasn't a bad place, and we'd probably stay again if we needed to be in the area.
