The shuttle and bus service around the area was excellent and very convenient. Still, after trying several units over the years, we haven't found one that feels like the perfect stay, and it's hard to know which unit you'll get. Our Beaver Run West Condos unit seemed to have a newer kitchen and three bedrooms, but it wasn't really equipped for a larger group. There weren't enough pots, pans, or utensils, and no proper pot for cooking pasta. The pillows and comforters were in very poor shape and need serious updating.

Our unit was nicely furnished, with three bedrooms and a full attached bath for each one. It also had a four-burner electric stove and oven, full-size fridge and freezer, dishwasher, and washer-dryer combo. The bathroom was the problem: the shower only turned on halfway, and the tub drained so slowly that water backed up while I was showering. That's why I gave the room four stars, though otherwise I'd rate it 4¾ ☆. The setting was beautiful, beside a small mountain lake and surrounded by majestic mountains, with lovely views any time of day. Service would've been better if I spoke the local language. I can say it wasn't English, but I'm not sure what it was. Everyone understood each other except my family and me.

The skiing was amazing, and getting to the mountain was easy since the shuttle was always nearby. We only waited a couple of minutes at most. The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable, and the staff very helpful. We had an amazing stay and can't wait to come back next ski season.

The location is great. The hot tubs were a bit cold during our recent visit, though. Hope to come back soon.
