The Westin Riverfront Mountain Villas, Beaver Creek Mountain

The staff are attentive, organized, and helpful, making the day feel easy for couples and vendors. For a comfortable, scenic mountain wedding with convenient access to the heart of Beaver Creek, it's an excellent choice.

At 8,000 feet on the eighth floor, we ended up using the stairs because the one working elevator had a 15-minute wait. A valet worker said the other elevator had been out for a week and a half.

On my first visit to Vail and Colorado, I was initially made to feel welcome. The hotel staff greeted me warmly and directed me to the Villas, where a friendly, informative concierge helped me feel at home. The villa was beautifully decorated and had thoughtful amenities. The experience soured the next day at the on-site marketplace. Fernando was rude and unprofessional. He didn't greet me when I came in or acknowledge me at the register. After I waited, I asked if he was available. He rang up my items without a greeting or apology and seemed disinterested. When I asked what the unlabeled smoothies were, he gave a vague answer based on their colors. One had something unsanitary on the rim, so I asked him to take it off the bill. Again, there was no apology or farewell, just a cold, dismissive attitude. It was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. At checkout I was also overcharged. A valet fee appeared despite my not having a vehicle, which I'd told staff when I arrived. There was also a mysterious market fee, even though I'd paid at the register. I called repeatedly to dispute the charges and left several voicemails, but nobody followed up. My stay was in January, and it's now nearly June. Between the rude service, extra charges, and no follow-up, I'm deeply disappointed and will never stay here again. Zero stars if I could.

We spent a week here and had a wonderful time. The exercise pool and workout facilities were fantastic, and there were three great jacuzzis. Plenty of beautiful spots to sit and relax or head outdoors and enjoy the scenery.
