Nashoba Valley Inn & Suites

The staff were warm and attentive throughout my stay, and check-in was smooth. Room service was prompt and courteous, too. This luxury motel exceeded my expectations and made for a comfortable, sophisticated stay with service that felt exceptional.

The beds were genuinely comfortable, and the location is handy, with a Dominos and supermarket next door and a Family Dollar across the street. Still, the place has a lot of potential that’s being wasted. The grounds weren’t maintained or even mowed, and there’s no elevator to the second floor. You have to haul your luggage up and down stairs with a railing on only one side, which would be hard with an arm injury. The room I reserved wasn’t available, so I got a smaller one the first night. When I was moved into the family sweet I’d booked, it looked like someone had been living there and had just been made to leave for my short stay. The fridge and oven were funky and looked that way for a while. The kitchenette had just a few pans, one old dish and a mug, all in shopping bags on the floor, with no coffee maker or toaster. There was only one small trash can for the whole room, bathroom included. It also didn’t look like the website photos. The rooms weren’t clean: there seemed to be boogers on the bathroom wall and food splattered on the walls by the desk. The shower curtains looked like they’d never been washed, and there was old, crusty soap on the shower rack. They really need a proper cleaning crew and to mow the grounds once a week.

The front desk guy really made the stay nicer. He was cheerful, helpful, and had some good suggestions for places nearby. The room itself was cozy, clean, and lovely, and I felt comfortable there. It’s also more affordable than other local hotels like Motel 6. I’d come back when I’m in town.

After traveling, we felt safe and relaxed here. Aaron described the place as calm and quiet, and helped us choose a room that suited us. He also pointed us toward the local restaurants and stores we were trying to find. We were really happy with our stay.
