Motel 6 Azle, TX

For $66, I got good WiFi, decent TV channels, a mattress better than many I've had at La Quinta, and, most importantly, no bugs. The walls and floor could use a cleaning, with dirt spots and stains, and you can hear the neighbors. It is Motel 6, after all. I stayed in room 207 on January 27, 2026. Azle has limited choices, and Fort Worth places can be hit or miss for roach or bed bug reviews. This stay was better than I first expected, but I wouldn't come back if I had another option.

The room was small, with a small TV, but it had a little refrigerator and microwave and was fairly clean. Two days cost $180, even though it wasn't a weekend, so it's not the cheapest place anymore. The pool shown in the picture has been filled in with concrete, and the hotel's pictured appearance doesn't match the real place. There are 39 rooms, upstairs and downstairs, all in front with none in back. You can bring two pets under 50 pounds.

Mary deserves a special mention for her knowledge of the community and for helping make our stay feel safe and enjoyable. The staff had plenty of energy and were very helpful. That kind of service is why I keep recommending Motel 6.

The pictures aren't truthful. The rooms are awful and moldy, and there isn't a pool.
