The patio is a nice place to sit, and there’s a fire pit out there. Inside, the hotel was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was great. The new management is awesome, and the staff are really friendly.

We’d happily come back. The room was clean and had been updated, breakfast was good, and both the staff and owner were nice. The hotel is under new ownership, and we had a great stay.

It seems like a new hotel, and our room was clean and comfortable. Downtown Aztec is just a couple of minutes away.

We booked four nights for two adults, but the guy at the counter didn’t want to give us two room keys. We had to go back and forth with him before he gave us both keys. Throughout our stay, the staff treated us like children, with a very condescending attitude. I didn’t feel welcomed at all. As we checked out, that same guy was yelling at a group of polite construction workers who had stayed there and had been helpful and nice to us the whole time. I didn’t notice anyone from the BIPOC community being treated with dignity. This is a Comfort Inn now, and the service is mediocre. Stay away. You’ve been warned.

The staff are friendly, and it’s in a good spot. Handy if you’re planning to visit Bisti Badlands.
