The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean and affordable. My complaints are that the jacuzzi was no warmer than the pool and its jets weren’t working. They also require housekeeping service, so you have to leave the room whenever they decide to come in, which is inconvenient.

I chose this place because it was near the Renaissance Fair, but I’ll drive farther next time for somewhere nicer. The pool isn’t heated, and the jacuzzi doesn’t work, despite the spa and pool being advertised. There’s no breakfast, just awful coffee with powdered creamer and sugar, plus strange pastries that look like they came from a dollar store. The place is old and cheaply remodeled. Booking.com quoted $100 a night, but I was charged $180, plus a $50 early check-in fee.

Dirty sheets, no toilet paper, and poor front desk service. It’s overrated. I won’t be back.

I had to leave $100 in cash at the front desk as a deposit, since they wouldn’t take a credit card. There were always random people in the parking lot, including a naked homeless man at 2:30 a.m. Inside, the bathroom had graffiti and black mold, and the floor was so filthy it turned my socks dark black. There were also women’s hairs on the towels and bed linen. I’m certain the room had bed bugs because I was bitten every night, only while sleeping, and the bites were below my sock line even though I left the room fully dressed with shoes on. I have pictures to prove it.
