It was flooded and completely underwater. Getting there is a slog too, with miles of dirt road, ugly city water pipes, and construction all around. Terrible place, stay away and book somewhere else.

We were left without a room after arriving around 9pm, exhausted from a long day at Glacier NP. The owner, who lives on the property, told us the hotel had been shut for weeks after flooding, with no water and power only restored the day before. Nobody had contacted us, even though they had our phone and email from the booking. Then the owner refused a refund, citing the cancellation policy, and left us to sort things out ourselves. Hotels near Glacier are booked months ahead, so we couldn't find a vacancy locally and had to drive to Canada, where we finally found somewhere around midnight. They kept our money despite providing no accommodation. It felt like a deliberate attempt to con guests, especially given the lengthy, strict cancellation terms. The setting made the ordeal worse. It's remote, with no cell reception and miles of dirt road to reach the property. The hallways were spooky and dark, and the place smelled damp and moldy. Weeds and grass were overgrown everywhere. The check-in sign on plywood pointed to a barn that was locked, with its windows boarded over with plywood. There was no sign of anyone having been around for months. Prices are jacked up for a place like this. The owner is a crook.

There's not much to eat nearby, and this place is truly in the middle of nowhere. But the location is hard to beat for Glacier National Park's northeast side, just a few miles from the border, and it can save you money. The exterior isn't much to look at, though the rooms are clean and comfortable. There's no TV, but the recently upgraded internet works great. For the price and location, you can't go wrong.

The internet was poor, and there are no TVs in the rooms, but you're surrounded by some of the best outdoor scenery in the country. The common area does have a TV if you need one. There's also laundry, and sometimes the bar is open on weekends with live music. We spent three nights here while visiting Glacier. The motel looks rustic and sits three miles off the main road, but it's a clean, welcoming place near the entrance to Many Glacier. The owners were very nice and ready to accommodate our needs. It was a good price, and the hospitality was great. Thanks to the Powell’s for looking after us. I'd definitely stay again if I'm back in the area.

We were a little unsure about staying here at first, but it turned out nicely. The room was very simple, with no TV, though the internet kept our kids entertained. There was a mini fridge in the room and a microwave in the common area. A heater was provided. I don't think there's AC, but we stayed in August and opening the windows was enough to cool the room when needed. Everything looked clean, from the linens to the bathroom, and we felt safe during our three nights. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and helpful. I chatted with several other people and none seemed to have any complaints. We'd stay here again.
