The front desk service was good, and housekeeping were very courteous. Still, our first room was ajar at check-in, and someone had used the bathroom, so the desk moved us to another room. A few things to know: the one elevator is incredibly slow, even when you're the only person using it, and the stairs are much faster. Our AC worked really well, but the shower head poured water instead of spraying. If you want good restaurants nearby, you may want to stay in downtown Bainbridge. I should've done more research before this short trip.

Everyone greeted us with a smile and a hello, and the service was impeccable. Andrew checked us in and made us feel so welcome, so I especially want to give him a shout-out. We had a wonderful two-night stay. The rooms were clean and felt homey.

The bed was a bit hard, and the WiFi was spotty and slow, but I'd stay here again. This is a standard HIE, nothing amazing, though it's far from the worst. The place has been recently renovated, the staff are friendly, the rooms were clean, and they've got the new single-cup coffee makers. Best decision Holiday Inn ever made, by the way. I'm not sure what the negative reviews are about.

The room was okay, but not the cleanest. There were lots of stains on the floor, and the toilet bowl hadn't been cleaned. On the first floor, they play music in the hallway at all hours, and it's not relaxing elevator music. You can hear it inside rooms on that floor. The workers say they can't turn it down or off, so light sleepers shouldn't expect a good night's sleep.

Everything was clean, and the staff were friendly. It was a comfortable stay from beginning to end, with good breakfast and a convenient location. I'd definitely stay here again. Great hotel!
