We had a longer stay than expected because our vehicle needed repairs, and Dorothy was welcoming, courteous, and helpful throughout. The breakfast buffet was great, with Delia cheerfully checking the food. We also enjoyed Riverwalk and the shopping outlets, plus barbecue at Champ’s nearby and tea and sweets at Mohya Cafe. I'd highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express/Airport in Bakersfield, CA.
10/10
ILENE gave my family great customer service and went above and beyond. The rooms were clean and nice, breakfast was fresh, and the staff acted professionally. I'd consider staying here again in the near future.
10/10
We had a frustrating mix-up over the reservation and credit cards, and after a long drive I was upset. Rodrigo kept working on it until he got everything sorted out, and we were able to stay. I owe him an apology. The room is nice, the location is right off the highway, and we're looking forward to the free breakfast.
10/10
The room was quiet and spacious. IHG's WiFi needs an overhaul, though. The speeds are slow and the connection keeps dropping across all my devices, especially compared with competitors.
10/10
I especially liked how well insulated the room was. The hotel was busy, but I never heard anyone coming or going. It's clean and attractive inside and out, with carefully kept grounds and a clean fitness room. My room had a microwave and fridge, and the price was very reasonable. The front desk called soon after I checked in to ask if everything was all right. I've stayed here several times and plan to return. It's a quiet hotel with what you need.
