The desk clerks were great, and one said she watched the cameras and the cars would be safe when I was worried about homeless people near them. We had to park along the side of the building. The room worked well for the five of us, and the bed was comfortable, though the microwave wobbled and couldn't warm coffee properly. Breakfast was scarce by the time we went down at 8:35 am, with only juice and coffee left. It was our first stay, so I didn't know the area. I would return.

The building is sturdy, and the walls are solid. We couldn't hear the neighbors unless they added to the hallway echo. The bed was great and clean, too. But there doesn't seem to be security, and things do happen, so the heavy doors are a good thing. Only one staff member smiled at me. Housekeepers shouted in the hall three times, and they have some system where they inspect rooms at 6:40 am. The echo makes that even worse. Then there was lawn mowing at 7:00. I thought hotels were for sleeping. Maybe it's the area. And whoever said breakfast was great was wrong. The apples were the only fresh thing.

The room looks nice and has a sofa, queen bed, big bathroom, decent desk, and a very large credenza under the giant TV. But there's no closet at all, just five hangers on two nearly flat poles. The refrigerator is tiny, its top freezer is even smaller, and frost has left it with almost no room. It slides across the floor when you try to open it. I'm elderly and couldn't open the door. I also tried to plug in the electric blanket I brought because I get cold, but the plug beside the wall where the blanket cord is doesn't work.

Gina was polite and understanding, but the rest of the staff and management ruined the stay. I told the manager clearly that I work night shifts and sleep during the day, yet they insisted on sending cleaners into my room while I was asleep. Every day the staff knocked persistently for several minutes, ignoring what I'd told them. I had been considering a monthly contract and staying 10 days a month for the next year, but I won't return. The gym is hazardous, with equipment that doesn't work properly and some pieces in such bad shape they could cause serious injury. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone who values professionalism, respect, and safety. I'd give zero stars if I could.
