There was mold in the air conditioner, and what looked like mushrooms growing out of the ceiling. The sink and tub or shower leaked so badly that a small trash can was left to catch the water when I arrived. We ended up emptying it two or three times a day. The rooms aren’t clean either. I had to ask for a broom and dustpan on my first day and bought my own cleaning products. It’s crazy that a motel like this houses unhoused people, homeless people, and families in transition.

The lobby looked expensive, so I expected the rooms to be similar, but I slept in my clothes because the seats were stained and there was a cockroach when I came out of the shower. The cable didn’t work, and it seemed like people lived there. I was exhausted, but I wouldn’t recommend it and won’t return. The Asian woman was very nice; I don’t think she owned the hotel, because she wouldn’t let it be run this way. I remember the place being nice when it first opened. The woman working in the morning, who I think was from India, didn’t even say to have a nice day or enjoy your vacation. She showed no expression. It’s sad how people don’t talk to each other anymore.

Just a nasty, dirty place that stinks. The room smelled awful, with hair on the mattress, spiders and flies, and random things glued to the walls. The toilet was broken, the floors were dusty and dirty with stains, and there were only three small towels. Even the hallways were dirty, and the stairs had graffiti. Worst place to stay. Stay away!

My hands, feet, and most of my body were itching when I left, and I’m still itching at home. I feel so disgusted I think I’ll need ten showers before I feel clean. The restroom was gross, like it hadn’t been cleaned properly and grime had built up over time. I didn’t want to step into the tub, so I used one of their nasty towels, which smelled like cigarette smoke, just like the whole room. I’ll never go back. Saving money isn’t worth it. My sweet grandpa put me up here, but go spend a few bucks somewhere else. If I could give zero stars, I would.

The extra $13.50 they charged after I complained was the final straw. At checkout, I asked for a discount because of the poor housekeeping, but the woman at the counter ran my card and claimed the new charge was my refund. My bank statement shows it was an additional charge. Even if she meant to give me a discount, it was a poor attempt that cost me more for complaining about the roaches. I’ll be reporting them to the health department and the Better Business Bureau. My family and I arrived around 11pm without a reservation after deciding to rest in the area following a fun day visiting Los Angeles. I assumed an Inn would be nicer, but the room was filthy, smelled bad, and had bugs. There were ants in the sink, and the fridge was too dirty to use, with old hard cheese, someone’s expired food, and liquid stains inside. Bugs and what looked like their eggs were on the shelf above it. We only noticed in the morning, when bugs were crawling on our things. There was also a cockroach on the floor while I was showering. I have pictures. It’s a roach motel, not a Grand Park Inn.
