Red Moose Lodge

Being able to walk right down to the river made this feel like we were deep in the woods, even though downtown was only a few minutes away. The rooms were super clean and had that Up North feel. This is easily the coolest place we've stayed in Michigan. Can't wait to come back in summer.

The fishing guide service was fantastic, especially with clients who have mobility challenges. Top notch 👌 For the price and service, this is one of the best places around. My room was immaculate, comfortable, and looked great to me. I read plenty of reviews here, mostly positive, and the few negative ones seemed spiteful and like garbage to me. My own stay was completely positive, and I highly recommend Red Moose Lodge. It's a great spot in spring and summer, or during fall salmon fishing.

There's a lovely spot to sit by the river, plus another seating area by the fire pit. Our queen room was comfortable, very clean, and decorated to fit the Red Moose Lodge name. Breakfast was continental with plenty of choices, more than just a roll and coffee. The lodge is a few miles outside town, near lots of restaurants and bars. We'll surely stay again when we're up for off-roading.

The free continental breakfast was a nice bonus, and the customer service was exemplary. Red Moose Lodge is well maintained, with clean rooms and picturesque scenery. We had an amazing stay, highly recommend it, and will definitely be back!
