Comfort Inn & Suites Liverpool - Syracuse

We picked this hotel because it was close to our family’s house for an event. It was a pretty good stay and didn’t cost too much. The room and the hotel were clean, breakfast was decent, and the staff were great. A special mention to the night worker, who I think was named Jenna. She was friendly and outgoing, and she got my wife, who’s been dealing with depression, smiling and laughing.

After a 15 hour drive, we arrived at 10:30pm and found food and debris on the entryway floor in the first room. The second room had the same problem. When we went back to the desk, the clerk personally showed us the three other rooms available. All three were filthy and unacceptable before we even went inside. We had to find another hotel at the last minute. They also refused to reimburse us and said we had to come back in the morning, which would disrupt our 12hour drive and add chaos to an already busy trip. This is the dirtiest and most unprofessional place I’ve ever dealt with.

The manager really goes above and beyond to make a stay worthwhile. The staff were friendly and helpful, and my room was clean with a comfortable bed. I also enjoyed the very nice hot breakfast. I’d recommend this place.

There’s a lot nearby, with big stores and restaurants, and I felt safe walking around at night as a solo traveler. The hotel sits back from the road, so my room was quiet. It’s close to major highways, though getting to some parts of the Syracuse area takes a fair bit of extra driving. For the price, that tradeoff was worth it. My room was roomy and clean, with modern furniture, a comfortable bed, and thick, large towels. The pool was small but clean and well kept, and I liked sitting in the outdoor courtyard with my morning coffee. They also had a full hot breakfast.
