The Red Mill Inn

The rooms felt comfortable and homey, with exposed beams, and the price was budget friendly. I loved the handmade soaps, shampoo, and conditioner they left in the room, and bought a bar at the front desk when I checked out. Stained glass lamps and stole bit elegant furniture made the place feel special. The third floor windows sit low, so seeing the views was harder, but they were also super comfortable. Breakfast was simple but good, with bagels, Danish, and cereal. It’s a beautiful, distinctive location, and a great option for families, with excellent local restaurants just a short walk away.

I grew up in Baldwinsville, so the historic surroundings meant a lot to me. The hotel itself is quaint and nicely appointed, with all the basics covered. The water temperature took a while to sort itself out, but eventually did. The bed was a little stiff, though still welcoming. I’d happily give it another half star if I could. It’s a nice place to stay.

Our son’s wedding reception was held at this fabulous location, and we were so pleased with how it went. The staff were efficient and friendly, and went out of their way to make the day memorable. We were comfortable in our rooms and had incredible views. Thank you for giving us such fond memories of this special day.

I travel to Baldwinsville often and will stay here again. It’s within walking distance of everything in the city center. The cottage is cute and cozy, and the dining room is small but quaint, with a beautiful fireplace. My room was spacious and comfortable. As soon as I walked in, the friendly staff greeted me and the place smelled like winter. I only wish I’d found it sooner.
