The beds were decent, and the bathroom was adequate. Everything looked very clean, but there was a terrible odor, maybe from a cheap cleaner or bug spray. When I got home, I left my luggage and clothes in the garage so I could wash and deodorize them.

We only stayed a few hours, so I can't say much about the place. We arrived close to 2 a.m. and the man answered the door quickly and was friendly. The room was clean, reasonably priced, and convenient, and the tub felt solid when I stepped in to shower. I'd suggest adding a bathroom fan to help prevent mold and putting frosted film on the bathroom window. It was a good stay.

The price was right, and it had everything we needed for our one-night stay: a tub and shower, cable TV, microwave, and refrigerator. It was clean and we were satisfied. There was an issue with the hot water for everyone, though.

The bathrooms have been properly redone, with new tubs, tile, toilets, and fixtures, and they did a good job. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the pillows were awesome. For the price, Ballinger Inn is the best of the three places in town. One other option is way overpriced, and the other looks like a trap house. This is a good middle-of-the-road hotel, though it isn't five-star. I'll stay here again when I'm in Ballinger.

I was in town for a funeral and needed a room for one night. Everything was very clean, and the bathrooms seem to have been renovated recently. The appliances, A/C, and hot water all worked. I was comfortable, and the woman in the office was flexible about our checkout time, which was nice.
