The heater was great, the room had a decent-sized TV, and there was plenty of counter space in the bathroom. I could also keep an eye on my car from any window, and thankfully there were no bugs or rodents. The location was handy and the price was good, too. Still, I wouldn't stay here more than a night. The door let in a cold draft, and there was nowhere to hang clothes except a few hooks with metal hangers on the wall. There were stains on the sheets, though they smelled clean. Worse, I had to clean feces and urine off the bottom of the toilet. It came off easily with the Lysol wipes I travel with, but guests shouldn't have to deal with that. There was an eleven-hour domestic dispute in the room above me, with swearing, doors slamming, yelling, and what may have been physical violence. It went on until 4 AM, when police arrived. Also, the required deposit had to be cash, and using the motel's ATM cost $5. Who still asks for cash in 2025? This might work for a short stay or layover, but that's it.

There were bed bugs in my room, and I got bitten. It was awful. To make matters worse, the motel insisted on a cash deposit of $50. I didn't have cash, so I had to use its ATM, which charged a $5 fee. It feels like a dirty way for the hotel to get extra money from guests. Worst Motel 6 I've ever stayed at.

The room itself was decent, but there wasn't a microwave, so you have to eat out and spend more to get hot food. The place was also full of roaches, and charging any kind of deposit for those rooms is ridiculous. I paid $140 because I couldn't understand the total. The room was $82 for the night, with $12.22 in taxes, plus a $50 cash deposit. The machine in the cramped office charged another $5. I was owed about $8, but didn't realize it was missing until the next morning. I had to threaten to call the police before the front desk woman would get the guy from upstairs, meaning he lives there, to return it. He wasn't happy, but how was I supposed to feel when it seemed like he planned to keep my money? A sorry isn't enough. They should do more than that when a guest is shortchanged, instead of going off on them. Hire better people. They won't, though. I could do the job for room and board. Now I'm wondering if I've been shorted money before, too. I need a better business number.

At 1 AM, someone knocked on our door looking for another person. The room was very basic and had no fridge, but it cost $100 less than the places down by the harbor on Valentine's Day. Guess you get what you pay for.

So rude. I wouldn't recommend them. They hung up on me when I tried to cancel, and I've been passed back and forth between the front desk and reservation hotline trying to get my refund.
