Penthouse at Light Street

Stay away. I booked about three months ahead for a convention in Baltimore, and my reservation stayed confirmed until the property cancelled it at the last minute, the week before my trip. I had to scramble for a place to stay during a busy convention, when there was little availability and prices were much higher. Afterward, I looked through other reviews and found several people describing similar last-minute cancellations. I also learned that when a reservation is cancelled, Expedia doesn't let you leave a review for the property, which makes it harder for guests with the same experience to warn others. The same listing also seems to be associated with another name, Penthouse by Light Street, which added to my concerns about booking reliability. Based on what happened to me and the similar reports from other travelers, I'm concerned about how they handle bookings. If you're traveling for an event or anything time-sensitive, I'd strongly recommend against booking here.
