I only stayed one night and made the best of an average room, but I wouldn't pick Roomza Inner Harbor within the Lord Baltimore Hotel again. I hadn't realized it was a hotel inside another hotel, and the poor communication between them made the setup confusing. The valet parking was chaotic, and the person handling Roomza was often nowhere around.

The room was comfortable, and free parking in the city is a plus. That's why I ended up giving three stars, though I was close to giving two. Roomza's setup made the stay feel odd and complicated, and we ran into problems several times. The beds and Wi-Fi were great, the location was superb, and the rooms had welcome extras and snacks. The bathroom could use updating. I think the Roomza staff we spoke with were trying to help and didn't mean for things to go wrong. The door lock was faulty. Unless you shut the door firmly and carefully, it didn't lock, so someone could push it open without a key card. After a day out we returned to find it unsecured because housekeeping hadn't pulled it shut properly. Breakfast was another hassle. At arrival we were told it was free, but not that we had to order by 10 p.m. We went to the bistro in the morning and were told there was no breakfast for us, though we could pay. Roomza took nearly an hour to look into it, then said they couldn't accommodate us since we hadn't ordered. That seemed odd when the bistro was making scrambled eggs for sale. They offered a pastry, which we skipped. Later I learned there should have been a menu in our room with a QR code for ordering. If it had been there, or someone had explained, I would've ordered. Being turned away at the bistro was embarrassing and needlessly confusing. Once we figured out the ordering, I requested drinks for the next room refresh and use of the Theragun. Housekeeping didn't restock anything, not even water or coffee pods, and left the used coffee cups. The Theragun didn't arrive either. We found water in a fridge by the ice machine and took some, then gave up chasing the Theragun and Coke cans. Following the process didn't help. We did get breakfast after the second night, but it was cold French toast and bacon in a box, as if it had been sitting for hours. There was no coffee offered. I can't imagine the bistro would serve food like that to someone coming in off the street. It's a hotel within a hotel, and the person at the main hotel desk, who I assume isn't part of Roomza, was oddly surly. Roomza guests have to ask whoever is visible, or send WhatsApp messages, and it gave me a bad impression. Check-in and valet instructions need to be clearer, and there were no check-out directions, so we had to return the key cards to that same desk clerk. Roomza should get the basics right: secure doors, good cleaning, and clear instructions. The extra ordering options and complicated breakfast sign-up can wait. No breakfast would've been fine, better than cold food and a confusing opt-in process.

Those three lovely faces who greeted us made us feel like celebrities. The cozy rooms came with complimentary non-alcoholic drinks and snacks, and the robes and slippers were so comfortable. This place is amazing, and it'll be hard for anywhere else to beat it. We hope to come back.

The decor and atmosphere looked lovely, and the front desk staff were nice. We stopped at the bar before an event, but the food and drinks were both mediocre. Stick with beer. Baltimore has too many other places to visit for me to come back. It was all just okay.

Roomza staff were polite, professional, and genuinely happy to help. It's a hotel within a hotel, and we had a phenomenal stay. The Inner Harbor is about a 10-minute walk away. Glad we chose this place.
