Staybridge Suites Baltimore - Inner Harbor by IHG

The location was hard to beat, with the harbor within walking distance, and valet parking cost less than the nearby garages. We had our toddler with us, so we were careful and avoided walking around after dark, as we would in any downtown area. During the day it felt great. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and well stocked. The main bed was super comfortable, but the sofa bed mattress was very, very uncomfortable. We only stayed one night, and the hotel exceeded our expectations in everything else. We’d definitely come back.

I’m in Baltimore for work a few times a year, and I ask my office to book Staybridge Suites because of the standard Hashem sets. I believe he’s the General Manager who runs the Inner Harbor Staybridge Suites. He notices small things, like checking the free breakfast and social hour buffets, and builds a rapport with customers. The staff follow his example, and I’ve never had a bad stay. This week, Hashem made the best room available to me at no extra cost: a corner King Suite on the top floor with a view of the Inner Harbor. I definitely recommend the hotel for its service, amenities, staff, location, and value.

The breakfast was good, with the usual eggs, waffles, and cereal, plus more flavors than I normally see. The hotel is gorgeous, from the elevator to the room, and it’s a proper room with a range and fridge. It’s a historic place close to the harbor, power plant, and main road. Valet was affordable at around $30, and there are nearby parking garages if you don’t use it. A couple of things to know: they charge for damaged towels, the hotel is very ADA compliant, and it has noise rules.

We had a wonderful stay with the family. The room was clean, and the whole staff was incredible. Lily was especially wonderful. Our 2 year old makes a mess, and she kindly came over to help us at breakfast every morning she was there. 5/5!
