WhyHotel Baltimore Inner Harbor

The room was comfortable and very nice, and the bed felt great. I don’t usually pay attention to shower heads, but this one must aerate the water because the falling stream was so soothing. Service was very good, and the front desk attendants, in a room like the apartments, were friendly and helpful. A few things needed attention: the kitchen faucet was very loose, blinds in one bedroom only lifted on one side, and a bedroom door wouldn’t open from inside, which was a clear safety concern. Thankfully, the attached bathroom offered another way out. After I reported everything, one issue was fixed that day and the other two were being addressed. The building isn’t in a fancy area. It’s downtown Baltimore, with people sleeping on sidewalks and benches, transients approaching you as you pass, and plenty of sirens. The hotel itself felt safe, with security downstairs and key-card locked doors.

Once we arrived, a friendly security staff member pointed us to the office, where we were welcomed with a warm hello and smile. The staff were professional and accommodating, even though our flight landed a little early and we got there before check-in. We could help ourselves to tea, coffee, wine, and snack bars after our long trip. Everything was clean and ran smoothly. Key cards were needed for our floor and other levels, which made me feel secure. The updated, modern rooms had a balcony overlooking Beautiful Baltimore, and housekeeping took great care of us. We had a wonderful stay, and we’ll return and recommend colleagues each year.

I liked the apartment a lot. It was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and had everything I needed for a happy holiday. The location was great too, with everything within walking distance. Check-in was easy, and the staff were friendly and informative. They offered me coffee or wine and a snack while I checked in. I’d definitely stay again, and try their other properties too if they’re as good as this one.

The room itself was pleasant, nicely furnished, and there was coffee in the office, which was a nice little extra. For a larger group, these rooms are a good deal. WhyHotel still has some kinks to work out to make check-in smoother.
