The owner, Shahab, was kind, welcoming, and full of information. He makes a point of feeding all the animals and seems to help so many people with their personal troubles. The staff were friendly and helpful, too. I stayed a month and loved it: a big, clean, quiet room close to everything, with an incredibly comfortable bed. There was a new microwave, coffee maker, fridge, flat screen TV with cable, and free Wi-Fi. For the price, it’s somewhere I’d happily return to. It was a memorable stay, and THE SHOOTING STAR MOTEL feels like home, whether you’re traveling or just staying a night. Thanks so much to Shahab and everyone there.

We’ll be back to the Shooting Star. The room was spacious and convenient, with its own parking spot right outside. It’s a great value near the coast. The owner was waiting for us at 10:30 pm and greeted us with such warm hospitality. He’s truly one of the nicest people we’ve met along the coast. He even showed us the room before we settled in.

The price was just right, and they have covered parking for cars. The rooms are big and clean, with super comfortable beds. There’s a large, clean grassy area for walking dogs, plus a quiet picnic spot with a table. The owners are clearly animal lovers and very friendly. Since it’s privately owned, your money stays in the community.

The owner is incredibly kind and loves the local fauna. Our room was roomy, the beds were really comfortable, and the location was great for a very decent price. When I’m back in Bandon, this is the only place I want to stay.
