Quality Inn Banning I-10

The room smelled so awful we nearly threw up, and there were stains all over the walls. When we called about the smell, the front desk said someone was cooking and “it smells like that when someone cooks sometimes.” We had to go buy disinfectant sprays and wipes. The front desk girl “Angela” was absolutely rude, giving one-word answers or saying “i don’t know” to every question. Very unwelcoming. We'll never stay here again or recommend it.

My rooms have been clean, and the staff are friendly and informative. It's right next door to the sizzler, a nice little package. It's a nice place.

The outside looked fine, and I just needed a quick stop after traveling all day. I got in at 1:30am, planning to shower and sleep until sunrise. There were dirty spots on the floor, but I ignored them and showered. Then I pulled back the sheets and saw stains and dirt. The comforter was dirty too, so I couldn't sleep under it. By then it was 2am, I was exhausted, already changed and showered, and wasn't going back downstairs to switch rooms. I slept in the chair instead. In the morning, I showed manager Malena pictures, but she said there was nothing she could do. I wasn't expecting five stars, just a clean room to sleep in for what I paid. Disgusting and not cleaned properly. Don't stay.

The pool was nice, but this was a bad experience overall. Lorena was very nice when we arrived and switched us to a different room after the first one was dirty and smelled strange. The sheets didn't look changed, and the pillowcases were stained and looked unchanged too. The second room wasn't much better: paint was peeling, there was a water stain in the restroom from an earlier leak, and the floors were dirty. There were cigarette butts in the room, and we had to track down the cleaning staff to get it cleaned better.
