Being only about a five-minute walk from Main Street made it easy to get around Bar Harbor, and the prices felt fair for what we got. We stayed in two different rooms, and both were comfortable, from the smallest to the largest. Melody was a wonderful host, and every breakfast she made was careful and delicious. The Station is such a charming place. We had a five-star stay.

We spent a week here and loved having a different gourmet breakfast each morning. Melody also made homemade snacks for the afternoons, which were great. The place was clean, and we enjoyed the company of her two sweet cats. She had park guides we could borrow and shared useful tips about Acadia. Everything, including the free shuttle to the park, was within walking distance. Great place to stay!

We visited in the off season and still had a great time. The street was quiet, and we could walk into downtown, so there was no need to drive anywhere. Our room was very comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and jacuzzi tub. When I called two days before our stay to mention that I’m gluten free, Melody was very accommodating, and all her baked goods were phenomenal. Breakfast was hot and delicious, too. She was a fantastic hostess, and we’d stay again in a heartbeat.

Melody was lovely to talk with and knew the local trails and places to visit. The inn is central, just a few minutes on foot from Bridge Street, where you can cross the sandbar to the island at low tide. After a day out, the jacuzzi and fireplace in our room were welcome comforts on chilly June nights. We also loved the very comfortable bed, creative and tasty breakfasts that changed daily, and scrumptious afternoon treats. Aysgarth Station was simply the best place for us to stay in Bar Harbor.

The B&B sits on a quiet street, within three blocks of town center and the Acadia Park Bus Stop. Our room was clean, peaceful, and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. Melody was a wonderful host, serving a nice variety of breakfasts and home-baked afternoon snacks to have with tea, coffee, or soft drinks. We loved our four nights in Bar Harbor and would happily stay here again.
