I came back on 05/13/2026 and booked the king suite. It didn’t disappoint. The room was updated and very large, with a jacuzzi-like tub, as shown in the images. Staff are always welcoming, and the rates are great. It’s a friendly little hotel off the beaten path. If you’re staying in Barnwell, I’d recommend it.

Parking was hard to find and difficult to navigate, and the staff were the most standoffish and least helpful I’ve ever met. The room was filthy: stained sheets, pillowcases, and towels, dirty floors, dark smears of unknown stuff on several walls, and cockroaches. Everyone in my group who stayed noticed the same problems. It was a disgusting hotel, the kind of place you’d expect to rent by the hour rather than by the day.

I’m here every Wednesday night for work, and I’ve had no issues or complaints. The rooms are always in great shape. Mr Rick and his Wife, along with Mrs Cynthia, are excellent, and the location is convenient for me.

The manager called to check that everything was okay, and the staff were friendly and very professional. I had a very good stay and would use this place again.
