We spent two horrible weeks here and got no money back. The price was far too high, and when we moved out they tried to pressure us into giving them a perfect online survey. Staff got sassy quickly over even simple complaints, and the rooms were only superficially cleaned. There were bugs everywhere, rats came out of the plumbing under the bathroom sink, and the comforters had large, nasty burn holes. The room smelled disgusting, the walls were covered in old spit, and the Wi-Fi and TV worked badly. It also felt unsafe to open the door after 6pm. This is a drug runner place, in my view.

The man at check-in was wonderful and did everything he could to help. He was the only good part of the stay. The room looked filthy, the drawers hung crooked from their hinges, and there were holes in the wall. The TV wasn’t even plugged in or tuned, and the remote had no batteries. It looked like a badly cleaned murder scene. I couldn’t bring myself to shower after a day crossing the desert. The shower was filthy, and I was afraid of creatures coming up from the sewer when I turned on the water. I used baby wipes instead, slept in my clothes, and kept my suitcase closed to keep roaches and other creepy things out. I heard gunshots all night and got no sleep. I took every extra security measure I could think of, and I work in security, so it takes a lot to make me feel that way. The rooms are outdated and dirty, despite the sign saying “Newly renovated rooms!” Receptionist: 10/10. Rooms: 0/10.

I can’t speak to the rooms since I wasn’t staying there, but the woman at reception went out of her way to help me anyway. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name. She’s a real asset to the property.

We booked one night after the front desk manager offered a discount with no tax, and agreed because the room looked large. I wish we’d moved on. The bed was full of bed bugs. I’m allergic to the bites and woke up covered in over a hundred huge, swollen red spots. They itched terribly, and two weeks later I was still taking medicine and had red marks. I also spent money on pills, ointment, and a doctor’s advice. When I confronted the manager, he seemed confused and said no one had complained before. I don’t believe him. He apologized but offered no compensation. The room had no fridge, the TV didn’t work despite the advertised free HBO, and the AC only blew cold air even though it was +8 degrees at night. We’d specifically asked whether it worked before checking in. There was only a thin bedspread, no proper blanket, so we froze. In the middle of the night, banging and loud swearing next door woke me; someone was demanding that the person inside come out. It sounded like criminals. If you care about your health, comfort, and safety, stay elsewhere. There are plenty of other options for the same money.

There were fights in the parking lot, and people walked up to cars and looked inside while management ignored it all. Our room was dirty and smelled bad, the sheets were dirty, and I slept on top of the covers using my own blanket. The TV didn’t work, but the manager offered no discount and refused to move us, saying he was full. About ten minutes after I checked in, another couple disliked their room and he switched them right away. I complained, and then he said they usually charge extra for children over five and wanted more money. I refused. At 9:30 in the morning he was banging on my door about checkout, saying it was at 10, even though at check-in he’d told me 11. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
