Hilton Garden Inn Bartlesville

The staff were consistently friendly and capable, and the facility was newer and well kept, with good parking. Breakfast was a little limited, but the food was perfectly acceptable. A very nice place to spend the night if you're in the area.

The staff were the best part of my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bartlesville. They were helpful, professional, and very friendly the whole time. The rooms were clean and okay, but nothing special for $204 a night. I was also disappointed that breakfast and reliable, high-speed WiFi cost extra at that rate. The hot tub was broken during my visit, too, and I had been looking forward to using it. The service was great, but the stay didn't feel worth what I paid.

We spent a lot of mornings and evenings hanging out in the roomy lobby, and there was a bar too. The facilities are great, with a decent workout room and an indoor pool. Our room was huge, with a writing desk and a single couch, though I wish the TV were bigger. I couldn't tell if it was a 32 or 36-inch LG. The mattress wasn't very comfortable, so sleeping well was hard. Everyone was great until Sunday, when the front desk woman we encountered that morning was unpleasant. That's why I took off a star for service.

The stay was awful from the start. We arrived around 10 PM after two flights to Oklahoma, completely worn out, but couldn't check in despite having a valid reservation. They required a physical card for the incidental deposit. We'd left ours in Kentucky and usually use Apple Pay, and nobody had told us ahead of time that a physical card was required. We offered cash, a digital card, and all the card details, but none was accepted. The staff showed no flexibility or empathy and told us to find somewhere else. After a long struggle, the company we booked through eventually supplied its physical card for the deposit. The situation could have been handled much more humanely. Things weren't better in the room. A towel was visibly stained and clearly not clean, there was a pill that wasn't ours, and the tissues ran out after barely any use. The outside AC unit made loud noise constantly, waking me several times, and there was no way to turn it off. The lack of cleanliness and basic comfort made the stay miserable. I don't recommend this hotel at all. Less than one star.
