La Quinta Inn & Suites Memphis Wolfchase

The room was clean and larger than we expected, which was a nice surprise. The pool was cold, though, and the hot tub never warmed up. We asked the front desk for another pillow, but the woman said they were out of pillows and towels, which seems ridiculous for a weekend. I also wish breakfast had at least one meat choice without pork, although I know most hotels are like that. It wasn’t terrible, but I’m not sure we’d book again.

I got the month wrong when I booked, even though I had the right day. The front desk staff found me a room for that night, and manager Angel went above and beyond to help me get a refund from the original booking agency. Really great service and accommodations. Thank you!

We were driving overnight from Texas to Michigan because of a family emergency, with my young son along. At 1am, several hotels had turned us away because they had no rooms, and we were close to giving up and sleeping in the car. The night clerk with blonde hair came through for us, finding a room that was beautiful, comfortable, and felt safe. Before her shift ended, she even made sure we had breakfast to take on our way out. She showed a stranger such kindness, and we’re incredibly grateful.

This is my go-to place in Tennessee now. The flat $25 pet fee has me sold, and I felt safe walking my dog along the sidewalk in front of the hotel. There are several restaurants within walking distance, including bk and texas roadhouse, plus a gas station and convenience store right next door. It was easy to fill up before heading to work.
