The Shaw Mansion has a fun old, historic feel, but the rooms have their own showers, which is a nice touch for a traditional bed and breakfast. The couple who runs it are cool, the breakfast is wonderful, and the inn's cats are great.

The owners and innkeepers are gracious and engaging. The home itself is beautiful and historic, with authentic decor and architectural details that will appeal to anyone who appreciates history or grand old buildings. It's run as a luxury bed and breakfast.

The owners are putting a lot of effort into restoring the grandeur of this late 1800s Italian Victorian mansion. They're always happy to share the house's history and show you around. It's a great bed and breakfast, and well worth a detour if you're not already passing nearby.

It sure is "historic." The dirt and dust on the window looked like it had been there for ages. There's no AC, TV, or refrigerator in the room, and not even a table.
