Pocono Night Lodge

For $120 a night, it was the best option I could find, but the stay was pretty average. The rooms weren’t super dirty, though they definitely hadn’t been cleaned very well. There was hair on the sheets, and the fridge smelled so awful we couldn’t even open it. It was like something had pooped in there and died. Luckily, we ate out and brought our own sheets and blankets. If you need a cheaper, convenient place, this is it. I definitely wouldn’t use a jacuzzi or anything like that there.

The staff were friendly, and there are lots of nice restaurants nearby. The room and amenities felt overpriced for what we got, especially since the jacuzzi jets were weak. The water temperature was easy to adjust and the tub worked, but instead of bubbly water and a good massage, it felt more like a bath with water flowing through the sides. It was relaxing, just not what I expected. I stayed on a Saturday in July 2025 and was nervous about cleanliness because of the negative reviews. The room was an average motel room, nothing fancy, and we upgraded to get the jacuzzi. I always check the bed and room carefully somewhere new, and ours was clean, with fresh sheets and comfortable pillows. The fridge was clean and worked fine. The bathroom was fine too. The shower had a few stains, like an average apartment shower, but wasn’t moldy as some people had described. The TV and basic cable worked. There was a slightly musty, stale smell at first, but turning on the air cleared it quickly. The place was clean, and everything we used worked. For a spur-of-the-moment stay or if you’re in a pinch, it’s a decent option, though I think the price should be lower.

Owner Preshant** runs a top-notch hotel. We had two excellent stays, first in a very clean Jacuzzi room that smelled great, then in a comfortable standard room. The staff are wonderfully friendly, and the location is ideal. Highly recommend!

Absolutely filthy. Find somewhere else. We stayed one night, then booked another place for the rest of our trip. See my photos for more detail, though some are dark because the lighting was poor. The microwave and refrigerator stopped working. I expected worn, outdated furniture because this was one of the cheapest places, but I didn’t expect filth.
