Best Western Bastrop Pines Inn

We got a king suite here for $20 less than at the Hampton Inn and suites Bastrop, and it was the same type of room. After a terrible, sleepless night there, this was a relief: the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the location nice and quiet. The staff were extremely friendly, kind, and attentive. If you're in Bastrop, I highly recommend this Best Western.

We came for the F1 race at COTA, and this place worked perfectly for that. Driving to the race was easy from the east, and we avoided getting tangled in Austin traffic. The rate felt fair for the room, the staff were always polite, and the room and common areas were very clean. Quiet location, hot shower with strong pressure, working AC, and a GREAT location. There are lots of dining choices nearby, including Chipotle, Chili’s, Chic-a-fila, Southside BBQ, where we ate three nights, and Texas Grill, where we had the best breakfast all three mornings. The rooms and mattress are a little tired, but the very large fridge helped make up for it since we could store 20 bottles of water.

The internet is painfully slow, like dial-up, and you have to pay for better service, which is just BS. Parking was no problem. The hotel is clean, the coffee is good, but breakfast needs work, and the pillows suck.

Rolando and Melissa were incredibly polite and helpful throughout my stay. Their customer service was the best I've had at any hotel, and whatever they're paid isn't enough. The facilities were among the best maintained I've seen at a Best Western or any hotel. I usually expect less from this type of place, but this Best Western completely exceeded those expectations. If you're on a budget in the area, I can't recommend it enough, you get more for your money than anywhere else.
