I’m going to sue this hotel. They charged me $150 for a smoke fee, taking money I needed for the rest of my rent. That’s unacceptable, especially since I went outside in the cold every time I wanted to smoke so I wouldn’t be charged. There should be camera footage of that. I had my son with me, and I still can’t accept that they charged me. When I called, the woman was rude and wouldn’t let me speak to her boss. The service was horrible. I need to talk to whoever’s in charge because I’m not satisfied. UNACCEPTABLE.

Skip this place. The room wasn’t clean, and all the bedding smelled strongly of men’s cologne. That only reinforced my impression that things hadn’t been cleaned well between guests.

Quality Inn, 106 Hasler Blvd, Bastrop, TX 78602. I guess there’s a reason for that 2-star rating. There were stickers in the mattress, dirty carpets in the rooms and halls, and a shower curtain barely hanging on. The tub faucet didn’t look caulked and seemed like it might come off in my hand. There was also a big bug in the bathroom sink, not quite big enough to carry off a small dog, but still a big bug in my sink! This place is disgusting. If I could give Quality Inn a negative-star review, I would. I don’t recommend it to anyone, and I won’t stay here again.

There were stains all over the carpet, rotting drywall in the bathroom, and walls so thin you could hear right through them. The whole interior looked and smelled like dumpster juice had leaked everywhere. Easily one of the worst places I’ve stayed. Never again.

Micki was welcoming to my whole family and really accommodating. We had rented several rooms while in town for a funeral, and they were clean, affordable, and better than I expected. Breakfast was good and regularly replenished. I especially liked the biscuits and gravy with sausage and the cheese omelette. There was no drama or trouble, and it’s close to everything we needed. Great value. I’d highly recommend it and would come back if I needed to.
