Days Inn by Wyndham Batavia Ohio

I was happy with my three-night work stay in September 2025. It was quiet, the beds were comfortable, and I paid under $100 a night. Breakfast was decent, and the pool looked clean and nice, with fake palm trees. There are a few places to eat nearby, and Jungle Jim's, a famous grocery store I love visiting, was only about 15 minutes away.

The room was clean and the bed was nice, and the woman at the front desk was helpful and friendly. Still, with a big event in town, I expected more help at the desk. When we arrived for the pumpkin run show in owensville, Bill was working alone and seemed overwhelmed. He fell to the floor and had to use the bathroom, leaving no one else to assist us. Later, he announced to everyone in the lobby that he was only going to say something once, so we should listen. When I asked which side of the hotel our room was on so I could park nearby, he didn’t know and had no map or paper to show me. We were charged three times for the room on our credit card, and the charges were still pending when I wrote this. That could keep someone with a tight card limit from enjoying their stay. We weren’t the only ones charged multiple times, and one person said they were billed for two rooms despite booking one. The only ice machine was broken Saturday night, so the woman handling breakfast had to go to the gas station for ice.

I won’t stay here again. The room was missing a pillow, cleanliness was only so-so, and breakfast was really bad. The front desk was a mess too: Bill didn’t seem to know how to check people in or where rooms were, and our rooms were charged two or three times on our credit cards. Nobody could explain the duplicate charges. Bill also made us leave the pool at 9:15 even though it closes at 10. My kid was swimming while adults sat talking nearby, and there wasn’t any noise problem. Bill just decided to shut it down early, and said at check-in that sometimes he does that because he can. It felt like an ego thing. Roger apparently knew how to check people in but wouldn’t come help Bill. This was a pathetic excuse for a hotel. And to clarify, this wasn’t about food or drinks, despite what you liars said.

The pool was clean, the water was warm, and there were lots of towels. For an overnight stop, it was a decent stay. The beds were clean and comfortable, though the room looked a bit dirty if you looked too closely.
